The featured artist in this home is B.J. (Berna Jean) Clark, who still lives in Knoxville, but is no longer painting. So we have the final remaining inventory of her original artworks, which are shared between the online auction and the tag sale, and her very popular series of prints–many of which feature favorite Knoxville landmarks and most of which are consolidated into the tag sale, framed and unframed and in varying sizes. We have the L&N Station, Westmoreland Water Wheel, Krutch Park, Rohm & Haas, Blount Mansion, The Old City Hall, The Old Market House, Market Square Mall, Secret Garden, Harbour Town, Baker Peters House, Hilton Head Lighthouse, and others.
Ms. Clark purchased many other local artists’ works and we have 6 or 7 dozen framed originals and prints, covering every inch of wall throughout the house, and which are primarily concentrated in the tag sale. See the photo gallery for a sense of the breadth of variety.
We have a wonderful mixture of ceramic art, as well, with the majority by 2 of Knoxville’s most beloved artists: Hugh Bailey and Peter Rose. The ceramic pieces are divided between the online auction and the tag sale, so please see both galleries.
